We were overnighting in Portsmouth and stumbled upon this restaurant. The food was an explosion of flavours and the staff could not do enough for you, without being over zealous. Particular thanks to Shubhra and Ali for looking after us so well

This was a pre theatre dinner with my daughter we are both vegetarians and she is gluten free. As usual we were offered papadoms we asked if they were gf (most are but it is worth checking) and after checking we were told definitely so we ordered some we we were then told best not to have them in case! The menu was good with plenty of choice, we ordered a main and two sides plus two rices to share. The food was lovely and tasty. There were a lot of returning regulars in the restaurant always a good sign. There was a relaxed air and the service was good. I did visit the toilets before leaving they were lovely and clean. I would definitely visit again.
