Costa Coffee - Portsmouth

A very quiet time at 9 am. Only a few customers. Relaxing coffee ready for the day. Staff are nice and still some familiar faces from years ago. When it gets busy. It's really difficult to find a seat and service is very slow. But overall. Really nice comfortable place.

The Costa Christmas menu is something I look forward to every year- the cute cups and seasonal flavours! I am more of a hot chocolate drinker rather than coffee so I chose the Gingerbread Cream hot chocolate , and my boyfriend had the praline latte. I also was intrigued by the White Chocolate Honeycomb Trillionaires. I really enjoyed my hot chocolate as it came with a little mini gingerbread man too which was cute. The praline latte seemed to go down well with my boyfriend too , and would like to try the praline hot chocolate next time! The Trillionaires was delicious and not something I had tried before and will be getting another one next time! There was a small queue to order but the baristas were working quickly and it didn't feel too much of a wait. I think the man who served us was new to the role but everything went well.

The hotel is located in the main pedestrian zone in portsmouth. coffee is standard costa with the usual selection of food. inside it was quiet and comfortable, but not happy Wiith staff
