Brasserie Blanc - Portsmouth

Burnt bacon and bap on burger. Might have sent it back if weren't so hungry. Merlot was OK. Someone said mussells were pretty decent. My daughter enjoyed her halloumi burger.

Great welcome, service was decent and the food good too. Not a WOW experience but it did not disappoint and that is all you can ask for. One member of the group is a picky eater who is not a veggie but likes a meat free menu and she was very happy with her menu optione here.

Far and away the best restaurant in Portsmouth. Try the burger, surprising for a French themed restaurant, absolutely the finest I've eaten anywhere.

I had lunch at this restaurant and found the atmosphere to be great with comfortable seating in the booths. I opted for the a la carte menu and was delighted to see a variety of vegan options available for starters, mains, and desserts. I had the mushroom starter which was delicious, and the harissa aubergine for my main course was divine. The service was excellent and they also had a good selection of drinks to choose from.

Always great this place. A very special place, only for very special occasions for me. Friday 15th Dec; lunch. THE best beef I have ever eaten. In fact I have said it was the best meal I've ever had. It really was that good but, I don't want to disrespect a couple of other great meals out this year.
