Copeland's Hot Dogs - Portsmouth City

I absolutely love this place! The food is fresh and delicious, and the owner and staff are fantastic!

I have been visiting Copelands (Johnson's) since I was a child, back when they served only hot dogs and BBQ. Now, the menu has expanded significantly, and I can honestly say I've never had anything bad from their hot dogs, hamburgers, sandwiches, salads (the chicken salad tastes just like my grandmother used to make), fantastic baked beans, soups, and their amazing chicken dumplings, among other dishes. The staff is very friendly, and you often bump into someone you knew growing up. Whenever we're in town, we make sure to stop by for some delicious food. You should do the same!

I had a Copeland's hot dog for lunch today, which I saved from yesterday, and it was still delicious! It took me back to my childhood when I would ride my bike to Copeland's and buy a whole box for my mom to serve for dinner. I really hope Copeland's will be around for many more years to come.

Excellent food and friendly staff. My work orders from here all the time. Love some Copeland's.
