The Bier Garden - Portsmouth

Food was good. Kitchen seemed overwhelmed and wait was longer than it should have been. Wasn’t much of a problem since we weren’t in a rush, but I would avoid if you need to be somewhere at a certain time.

Delicious and unique food for a great value. Cute location and great service! Lots of authentic dishes Schnitzel was spot on and Rouladen was amazing! Indoor and outdoor seating available outdoor dining area was very nice.

We really enjoy The Bier Garden even though it is an hour drive each way! Only authentic German food I know of in the area. Only slight draw back were the flies outside! Nothing they can do about we wanted to be outside and they were very accommodating

Food is always outstanding!! Our server was very kind but it took far too long to get the food. It was delicious as always but it wasn’t busy enough to warrant such a wait. Wait aside, I don’t believe you can order a bad dish from the menu. :

Authentic German food and Beer. A most stop every trip to the area.
