Lobscouser - Portsmouth

Ordered fried fish sandwich plate, also the bacon cheddar burger plate and the kids chicken tenders plate. All was delicious and cooked perfectly! Service was outstanding and prices are affordable! Highly recommend!

Portsmouth’s best kept secret. This charming restaurant features some of the best seafood in all of Hampton Roads. Incredible prices, delectable cuisine and amazing service are all things that I have come to expect as a patron. A few of my personal favorites are the Crab balls, peppered shrimp and the prime rib. Give this place a shot, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

One of the best seafood places I've ever eat at had a long wait with no reservation but after I got my good oh my God nothing left not even a crimp I highly recommend this place to eat

The minute we walked into the Lobscouser we were treated like royalty, the hostess greeted us promptly and seated our family of 5 immediately, all but one of us ordered off of the early special. All 5 of us shared the crab dip as our starter which was so delicious that we ate the very last spoonful. Personally I ordered the salmon which was one of the best that I had ever had, not to mention the wonderful side dish of tomato basil salad that was made with all fresh ingredients that they purchased from the farmers market. Hats off to the chef Bobby as everyone's meal was equally delicious. Our waiter Skip is FABULOUS! Extremely personable and very attentive! Next time we are in town we have already planned to makie sure to include the Lobscouser to our list of places to eat!

Love this place! Great service, inexpensive and delish food. Love their salmon grilled in herb butter.
