Kim Lai - Portsmouth

I visited the restaurant yesterday and was immediately struck by a strong smell of bleach as soon as I walked in. It completely ruined my appetite, and even my appetizer tasted like chemicals. I won't be returning here to eat again.

The food was decent, but it definitely wasn't worth the price. Everything we tried felt like it was lacking in flavor. It's the most expensive Chinese food I've ever experienced, and it didn't deliver on taste. However, her egg rolls were exceptional—definitely the best I've ever had.

The food is consistently excellent and is served promptly. The staff is friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable. The service is also good! Everything is delicious! Highly recommended!

1st time customers, don't know if we will come back but .. Friendly staff, quick service. Food looked well plated. Lo mein was salty, fingers were soggy from grease and the fried rice had no taste.

Kinda nasty tbh. The sweet and acidic sauce was just a bunch of maraschino cherries raged on the chicken. Rice was old and dry and egg rolls were also very dry. It was enjoyable, but HORRIBLE. Go somewhere else.
