Cock Island Bar Grille - Portsmouth

I got hungry on the way to Jim Thorpe town, so we decided to stop at this restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The portions were generous.

We visited this restaurant twice in the span of two days and had contrasting experiences. On the first occasion, we came on a weekday morning after the breakfast rush.

This restaurant serves the best breakfast in town at great prices. Their scrapple is unbeatable and their pancakes are also delicious. The atmosphere is nice and there are lots of families there in the mornings.

I was just waiting for my motorcycle to get worked on at Bayside Harley Davidson; a local guy recommended this place. Nice dive bar type place.

Wings are large, and under cooked, the sauce is average at best. Can't speak for the other items on the menu, but the wings are not a good choice.
