I visited portoscuso three times and eaten twice here. I really like this place, it does not do so to be fancy fine eating, it is very honestly well cooked eating, I always go for seafood, mixed seafood grill was fantastic the first time. I went as a sharing star, had a big laugh asking what the fish of the day was, answer “it is the fish they caught today” that made me smile so that I ordered, and it was a beauty of the seabrow. it was very busy! my partner who, when said from portoscuso, ahhhhh, we could not serve as there was a big table of police cadets and a big table that celebrates something, but they have set us! I had the sea bass my partner the mussels pasta both brilliant as they should be traditionally cooked. the house wine is really well served by the litre if they want
That was my second visit to this restaurant. I knew there was something about it, but I couldn't remember that it was good, so went ahead with the family regardless of it. After I got our head, I realized what I forgot, it's very forgettable. So, we grow up and a child. the starters were a mix of fish and whistle. the muddles were beautiful, the paved fish etc. was nice. mains, we ordered clam spaghetti for children and adults while I went for the mixed grill fish. while eating arrived in a fair time when the big bowls of clam spaghetti arrived, it looked quite dry. when my mixed grill arrived, I was shocked by what was planted in view of its my thunfish was cut off from a larger piece, so I got a small corner of a larger piece. it really looked subdued. also very dry. I mentioned this the waitress, she took it away, but I think I must have waited for it to come back. then the piece was not cooked directly, so I also sent it back for a minute on the grill. the third time they have it right. I was very surprised when they were a fish restaurant. at the end all agreed that they are far too expensive for what they get. the quality is not worth it either. that was the second visit and the last one. there is another restaurant near the pier that should be much better so we try to try that instead.
We had a late lunch; the service was excellent and very friendly. the cuddles were so to say, legendary. really delicious as the penne with laughs. I would certainly visit this place again and recommend it to everyone to lunch with...affusing fish dishes.
A short walk from the harbour up a side street, you'll find this very friendly, family restaurant with outside seating and play area for children. The food is delicious and the owner very welcoming and friendly. There is something on the menu for everyone ie...pizzas, pasta (of course) which is great if your children are fussy eaters but also local specialities if you want to try some local Sardinian cuisine. Recommended!
