Contribuiți la feedbackFood and wine very good but all the opposite for the service. First of all, no menu with prices, well it was our fault not too ask then. We got some prices by asking them and then we found different ones (higher) on the bill. We got amaro offered by the house and then it was counted in the bill. When asking why it was like that, we received as answer that we can 't complain as we had nice dinner until late, and we were not so cool acting to compain for some tens euros after such nice dinner. Very arrogant owner. Absolutely not recommended, and we are locals, I can only imagine what they can do with tourists.
I just don't understand negative reviews. We in two spent 40 euros for a cannellone and a cutter, which is overflowing and of superlative quality, a round of cured meats and cheeses of a very high level, presented well and explained. That doesn't hurt if you want to know what you're eating. The owner is special but nice, the service was attentive, correct and exposed the prices clearly. Prices that are also indicated outside. Waiting times in the norm. I'll come back and recommend it. Honorable mention for the ascolan olives to truffle!! !
I stayed in this place despite the numerous negative reviews. We come to the sodo: the cutter was rich in local meats and cheeses, well assorted and presented. The salami ranged from salami to lonza to the famous ciauscolo, we also tasted a meat of liver very particular and with a strong taste. The cutter was great and the focaccia abundant. Only sin: the waiting time. In my opinion, it is not possible to wait an hour for a cutter of only cold things. Average/high prices, a cutting board for 5 with unlimited focaccia and two bottles of wine (together with two waters) 28€ per head.
We chose this place for an aperitif veil and before dinner. We had explicit that then we would have made a more complete meal, so we ask two glasses of wine and the lady who greeted us proposes a small cutter to tease and so we accept. The DAVVERO FAVOLOSO cutter but the abundant quantity for an aperitif. So we finally had dinner there. On the cutting board you will find all the possible and unimaginable salami of the Marche, a truly amazing culinary journey! Good wine. The only flaw was the lack of clarity about the cutting board and at its cost (a cutting board and 2 glasses 50€ and the service: the fireplace that served us really sloppy and, moreover, has taken away the glass of wine with the finger inside the bicchierr with still inside a goccio telling me to take another one. No, it's not like this: if I ask another glass, take away, if you wait for me to finish and don't take these freedoms.
Aperitif dinner for two: divine gastronomic experience, selection of excellent local products, the price is definitely justified! compliments also for the service.
