Quando fui, havia fila para comer no local, então optamos pela opção take away. As batatas fritas não são congeladas e dão uma porção bem generosa. O cachorrinho é bom pelo que é. Um está bom, mas se estiver com fome é melhor pedir dois. O serviço. Um garçom foi bastante rude e outro foi muito simpático. Você não pode pagar com cartão (ou pelo menos eles não me deram a opção)

There was a short wait to get in during dinnertime, but it was worth the wait. This is the best place to try cachorrinho in Porto. The service was excellent, the beer and cider were great, and the food was quintessential Porto street food.

I failed to see the hype. The “special hotdog” seemed just like a hot dog pressed with cheese…like a simple, skinny panini with cheese and decent hot dog. The textural experience of the toasted bread cut into bite sized pieces was novel. But was it worth the international hype and moreover, the crazy hill I climbed from Sao Bento? At least the climb helped offset some of the calories…

Had the Special Hot Dog and it was delicious! My friend had the steak sandwich and again delicious. White wine with this of course and the bill was so reasonable. We wished we had discovered this restaurant at the beginning of our trip instead of at the end.
