Flavored grilled chicken, a rich bouquet of wine, and pleasant prices! Especially would like to notice how polite and attentive the staff of that place. I had such an enjoyable experience of lunch there, recommend!

We stumbled across this place whilst walking around. The food was great and service was good. The only thing is they charged us for bread and short eats that I thought was complimentary. Wasn't a huge cost but just be aware and if you don't...want it just send it back.

We have been looking for somewhere in Porto where local people eat and this place hit the spot in a number of ways. First, all the menu is in Portuguese. The staff are friendly and only one person (a younger guy) could speak English. However,...you can clearly see there is chicken is being cooked on the grill. It didn't take much sign language to get what we wanted: piri piri chicken, chips, salad, beer to take away. The sopa do dia was a thick vegetable soup and was very tasty. We went three times in total. Have a beer whilst waiting for your food to come, soak up the atmosphere of how people in this area use this local cafe. Take some cold drinks to go with your food. There is seating area upstairs (that we didn't go to) and there were also people eating at the bar. I appreciate this place might not be to everyone's taste. However, I loved it.

MARAVILHOSO! Verdadeira comida portuguesa. Pedi bacalhau e meu namorado pediu a carne. Peçam com batatas fritas, são caseiras e deliciosas (pedi cozida mas me arrependi porque as outras sao muito boas! Tudo perfeito, do atendimento à comida. Ainda to desejando rsss

A small restaurant in a side street near Rossio Square. I was there for lunch, the place was packed and I'm pretty sure I was the only tourist. The food was quickly prepared and delicious. Beautiful decoration (she is tram), service friendly enough, payment by card no problem.
