Lemongrass Thai Cuisine Restaurant

Lovely meals at reasonable prices - the chicken cashew stirfry is my favourite. I haven't eaten In the restaurant but it looks very ambient.

For well cooked asian cooking, Lemongrass restaurant is hard to beat. Their takeaways are generous serves as are their restaurant meals.

Thai being one of my favourite cuisines I was a little disappointed that night. One of my favourite dishes to order was the Massaman curry which was quite watery and lacked the usual taste, more like a clear soup. The beef had some gristle and the potatoes were fibrous, possibly undercooked. The honey prawns were good, the Pad Thai was mean in quantity and tasted mild as well. All in all there wasn't a lot of flavour in any of the dishes. We made mention we were sharing all the meals so when we received the smallest bowl of Jasmine rice I have ever seen it surprised us that they didn't try to upsize when we ordered. The business is up for sale so as we are moving into the district we will give it another go as the service was good and the restaurant was busy so perhaps they were under the pump that night.

Enjoyed a meal on a Sunday night with the restaurant very quiet. Owners could be excused for giving us the hurry up given we were the only diners, but we were very impressed with the service, which was only exceeded by the menu.Fantastic choice and fantastic food. Great value.

Pleasant atmosphere and decor, friendly service, and very tasty food. I had the jungle curry and it was HOT!!! Very reasonable prices and a pleasant surprise to find in a country town.
