The Boiling Bowl - Portland

They were super busy and a little bit understaffed, so we had to wait a long time for dinner. we arrived at a day off at 19 o'clock and sat immediately on a large 4-surface. the sautéed tofu bún was good, but not great. that could only be in comparison to my loving memories of pork bún. my non-vegan friends had good food! if they wanted to go back, I would like to go and try the vegan ph-appo!

This place was wonderful. very clean, beautiful interieur. the vegan items are clearly marked and can easily be seen on the menu. I ordered the vegan pho and could not believe my tastes. it was with sweet, renunciated, incredible tofu and the best broth I've ever tried. it comes in a huge bowl and comes also with a side plate of pean sprouts, basilikum, hot paprika and limette. I can usually take away food, but I left overs with a large container. if they consider coming here, just do it! they will not regret it.

They serve meat, but are very ready to make their option vegan.

I’ve only had pho one other time since going vegan and I was super nervous because my expectations were low. However, their veggie pho had tons of flavor and a nice variety of veggies. The atmosphere was relaxed and the owner even entertained us singing karaoke. They do serve lots of meat options but they were knowledgeable and respectful of my food choices.

New spot in Portland offering incredible vegan pho and several other vegan options! Must try!
