Yukon Tavern - Portland

This bar is a hidden gem in Sellwood, effortlessly blending the atmosphere of a Northwest tavern with that of a cozy neighborhood dive. The owners and bartenders are warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The menu features simple yet satisfying bar food, offering everything you need without any unnecessary extras, including excellent beef and veggie patties. It's also a very queer-friendly spot with a diverse local crowd.

I plan to visit this place every time I'm in PDX from now on. The staff, clientele, and atmosphere are all fantastic! The food is great, too.

I live just a couple of blocks from the Yukon and used to visit frequently. However, after the ownership changed, my experience has declined significantly. It used to be one of the coolest, laid-back old-school dive bars in Portland, but now it’s just not the same. I won't be returning while the current owners are still in charge.

A hidden gem! Solid spot, service was above average, and locals were friendly! Bartender on shift was helpful and rad even though it was a Sunday. I like this spot. Cool people, good tunes.

I’m giving the Yukon five stars for the irony of their reader board saying “ be excellent to one another” after a year of smugly calling the unvaxxed scrubs.
