The Sandy Hut - Portland

The vegan mac and cheese was lacking moisture and flavor, needing some salt. I requested jalapenos and received them as fresh slices on top, which was not what I had anticipated. However, the bar had a cozy and enjoyable atmosphere.

Happy 100th Anniversary to this fantastic Dive/Semi-Tiki restaurant. They offer delicious drinks at affordable prices. The bartenders I have encountered there are not pretentious, which is a refreshing change.

I only come here for the events they put on... But if they don't start following city rules for community events, they'll soon be denied permits to do so....
