Tanner Creek Tavern - Portland

Tanner Creek Tavern is a neighborhood treasure. It is our default place for dinner or drinks. The food tends more towards the classics than the experimental, but it's always done well. The ambience is great. And the service is excellent.

So many great choices of food and drink. Very happy with beet salad and grilled chicken and the tequila cocktail. Nice setting.

We truly enjoyed the low volume of the background music so we were able to enjoy our conversations.

Everything we tried was so yummy and interesting. The wait staff was very pleasant. We enjoyed our dinners, and especially our desserts, tremendously.

Started with nicely crafted margaritas. Split the perfectly seasoned Caesar. My guest had the chicken and fries and I enjoyed the seared Albacore on a bed of Chinese greens.
