Summit Shack - Portland

I visited for the first time today and the chicken parmesan was fantastic. I will definitely be trying it again!

My Italian sub was excellent. If I hadn't devoured it so quickly, I would have taken a picture. It's beyond words!

I visited The Core yesterday to grab a bite to eat. My friend and I decided to share a few different dishes. We tried the Summit Shack burger, and it was quite good. It had a wonderfully crispy coating that was almost like a crunchy layer. However, I wasn’t a fan of the sesame seed bun; that’s just a matter of personal taste. The pickles were really delicious—large and flavorful—and the bread and sauce were outstanding. While I wouldn’t necessarily return just for the burger, I’m definitely planning to come back for the spicy chicken sandwich. So many people have raved about it, and I felt a bit disappointed that I didn't try it myself! I saw others ordering it while we were there, and it looked amazing!

A friend and I went on a year-round trip to try friends chicken sandwiches around pdx. seriously, this is the best fried chicken sandwich in portland. I can't overestimate how good this place is! they also began to make jojos that are incredible. please do you like one and go to summit shack.

I have had the chicken Parmesan sandwich twice now and love it, just wish they were closer to my house as I would eat it way more often. It is soooo good. It has the right mixture of flavors, good breading, fresh basil, good cheese and flavorful sauce. The bread is also perfect, soft but holds up to a wet sandwich. The pod is high end with indoor seating that is huge with a high ceiling and large clean bathrooms.
