Contribuiți la feedbackBest Northern Indian food I've had in the States. The naan is incredible, one is enough for two people. The service was great with friendly owners. Definitely a must eat if you're in Portland and love great food.
The madras coffee was spot on although it looked different to my expectations. Nan and paneer Tikka masala were great. Had I stopped there I would have given 4 stars. But then, fried rice was a disaster. This is not the typical Indian fried rice (expected it to be white in color). It would have been great without the tomato sauce or ketchup. Please fix it soon. Decent Indian restaurant but not the perfect one for any dish. Better order something based on the reviews to avoid disappointments.
The Chicken Korma was absolutely delicious—definitely the highlight of our meal! The Butter Chicken was quite tasty, but it had a stronger tomato flavor than I usually prefer. The two Samosas were crispy and had a nice spicy kick. The Garlic Naan was also a solid choice. Overall, the meal was very enjoyable, but I think I’ll be sticking with my old favorite for Butter Chicken next time.
Absolutely delicious! I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, which was rich and full of flavor. The Vegetable Korma was creamy and packed with generous pieces of vegetables, and the garlic naan was fresh and fluffy. The portion sizes for everything were very generous. I highly recommend this place!
I’m not from Asia and I don’t claim to be an expert on Indian cuisine, but my family and I definitely prefer this restaurant over others we've tried. We appreciate that the food is consistently well-prepared and always delicious. We're not fans of overly spicy dishes, and when we order mild here, it truly is mild—more akin to American standards of spice. This consistency extends to the dishes as well; there's always a generous portion of chicken or other meats in the sauces, the mild spice level is reliable, and the flavors are consistently delightful. I’m giving it 5 stars—not for authenticity or for being the absolute best Indian food out there, but because it consistently delivers a quality experience you can count on. If you’re someone who isn't from Asia and is looking for flavorful, non-spicy Indian food, this place is a great choice. I hope it continues to maintain its quality!
