Senate - Portland

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon, as I had a great experience at Thirsty Lion during my last trip to Portland. The new place, Senate, has taken over the old Thirsty Lion space, and it offers a slightly different vibe. While their beer selection is more limited (they had run out of several draft options), it's still a solid choice for a local beer flight. Our bartender was very friendly, but unfortunately seemed overwhelmed. I hope they consider hiring more staff to ease the workload.

I absolutely love this restaurant! It has a relaxed and cozy vibe while still maintaining a classy feel. There's also a lovely patio at the back of the building. The drinks were excellent, and the service was top-notch! Ally took care of us and made us feel right at home, ensuring we had a wonderful experience. I will definitely return!

We visited during happy hour, and it was very peaceful. There's a great variety of beers available. This place has a nice vibe with plenty of TVs, making it an excellent spot to catch the game. The service was good, and they also have a DJ along with a stage for live music performances.

I've only eaten french fries here, but they were good. I've been here dancing on Wednesday nights and that has been fantastic. Big space for Sandy, good sound system, and a great crowd. Place has a great bar as well.

Came here for Burger Week. The burger was tasty and the price was right. Good service. I'd come back.
