Contribuiți la feedbackWe always return for the baked goods at this restaurant! The French macarons come in so many flavors. I can't decide on a favorite. The restaurant also has a great atmosphere.
Oh, patisserie. I used to love you so much before you got a fancy makeover and Petite Jacqueline became your smaller sister. The new patisserie has some decent offerings, but it's not the same.
I came to this restaurant on Saturday at 3 for a quick meal and planned to come back later for dessert. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the limited options in their dessert case. I had hoped for more variety.
This restaurant is an authentic French pastry shop, possibly the only one in Portland. While their selection of pastries isn't extensive, what they do have is absolutely delicious. We frequent this place for their pastries and coffee, but they also offer lunch. Their real espresso machine allows them to make delicious coffee. The carefully adjusted prices maintain a certain level of clientele, which we appreciate. Keep up the good work!
Having a French-style cafe in Portland is a delightful experience. We tried the crepes and macarons, and they were delicious. My only suggestion would be to serve the macarons closer to room temperature as they were too cold. The coffee was also quite good, though it was not what I expected. In Europe, I have had macchiatos with a higher milk to espresso ratio served in tall glasses, but the one here had a very small milk ratio. After some research, I realized that there are different variations of this drink, perhaps this is an American version.
