Pdx Bawarchi Indian Cuisine - Portland

I'm giving this place a negative half-star. I ordered the lamb wrap, but after a few bites, I realized there was no lamb in it at all. I went back to the counter to address the issue, and the staff member was loud and defensive, insisting he didn’t make mistakes and that he had put lamb in the wrap. I never accused him of cheating; I just explained that he made an error. After about ten minutes of this back-and-forth, he finally added the lamb to my wrap, but by that point, I had completely lost my appetite. I'll never return here again. Negative half-star.

The food he prepared was terrible. The gyro, priced at $11, lacked sauce and only had a small amount of vegetables. The chicken and rice ($15) were overcooked and dry. In total, we spent $26, which unfortunately ended up being fed to our chickens and dogs. I was really excited to have this cart in my area, but after this experience, I have no plans to return.

This food truck specializes in Döner but can’t even manage to serve it without the meat. Döner was originally created in Germany by German-Turkish people, and as a German myself, I find this disappointing. It would be easy to omit one ingredient and add extra salad instead. Overall, this place just doesn’t meet expectations!

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. They gave me a sample of the lamb kabob, and it tasted fine. When I decided to order it, the staff confirmed my choice. However, when my sandwich arrived, it was completely different and not enjoyable at all.

The lamb over rice plate was outstanding! The lamb was flavorful and tender, and the portion was generous.
