That was my first time in this restaurant. Our waiter was Tim, whom I highly recommend. He had 8 tables, as they were given a hand. He had a big table that was constantly demanding despite all the tables he was responsible for. I enjoyed the artichoke and the bread was good. They created something with the bread I had not yet: roasted, but soft and warm. I have the fatuccini Alfredo with chicken. It was much better than the old spaghetti factor, but not as good as Olive Garden. The texture was good, but there was something lacking and the sauce was runny. My husband has spaghetti con Gamberetti. He loved the dish and felt the flavors and spices were well combined. Overall it was very pleasant atmosphere and pleasant.
Pastini is a solid Italian place. It is one of the few places I literally liked everything I tried on the menu spaghetti, baked ziti, lasagna, ravioli it's all great! Her garlic bread is probably the best I've ever had because it's not a crunchy overcrowded brick. It's soft with just a bit crisp. So good, try her special soda too! The blood orange rosemary is incredible. They are also favorable, and at this point I think they far exceed Olive Garden in terms of value. It is not your hole in the wall authentic Italian experience, but they are definitely my way for reliable, tasteful Italian food in the Portland region. They are consistent and the portions are adjustable. The Bridgeport site is my favorite. Even if they were packed, I never had to wait for a table. Great date night spot with the movie theatre directly opposite.
Great service. Her pasta is cheesy and oily. A small part can easily fill you.
This place is a constant in consistency and quickness. The food and service is always dialed in. Now, some will say that this is not amazing Italian food, others will say that mall food is not good either. But, I disagree. I have been fortunate enough to work at Bridgeport from 2006-20014, and the one place that I would choose to eat at is Pastini. Malls can be packed, long lines, bad service etc etc. If you can give your name with the Host?they will text you when your time is ready. They have one of the best staff teams in the area. Isiah was our guy tonight and he was awesome. He was friendly, gave us great insight on the menu, gave us a chance to make our choice and when it was time to enter the order?the amazing chef team in the kitchen got the food out to us in a flash. They serve a big plate, lots of food, so be ready to take some home. They pasta is perfectly cooked, the sauce and ingredients are flavorful and the drinks are delicious. I highly recommend the Baked Ziti, or the Spaghetti and Meatballs. The Chicken Alfredo is also super good with tender chicken and silky noodles. Im a fan, I like consistency. I also am one to return because of the service and the kitchen staff. Pastini is great at all three.
