Papi Chulo's - Portland

Customer service is key when it comes to food establishments, and that is something this place definitely lacks. The food was cold upon receiving it, when brought to their attention they took my plate with horrible attitude and even rolled their eyes at me. When asked to speak to there higher up, that person was no better. Place is over rated and over all don’t recommend it not even to my worst enemy. AND TO ADD THE CHERRY ON TOP, THEY SUPPORT CRIMINALS!! ????

Sadly, I was over charged. I ordered a veggie burrito with guacamole- no meat, no dairy. I was charged $17 and change! Previously, I have been paying $11 and change for the same order. I brought this up and was told the price for a basic burrito- veggie only is $11 and change. On the menu, it is $9 an change. I hope this is a mistake- or this place is seriously overcharging for mediocre food.I will try Nutrí Taco down the street.

Just got some Asada tacos with the wife on our date night and lemme tell y'all, these things was BUSSIN'. The meat was like falling apart in our mouths and the shi* was so fresh. Flavors on POINT. Will be back. Little spendy, tho. Spent $57 on 6 asada tacos and 2 shots of tequila. I don't even care tho, THOSE TACOS ARE WORHT IT.

Must READ!I ordered on ubereats and had the luxury to enjoy this delicious food in the comfort of my own home in my birthday suit with my lady. Food was so damn good my lady left me for Papi, saying as she walks out the door “you’re no longer my Papi”. Worth it

Subpar food and service.Food: tacos are very small (3 to 4 for $5 each but do have a decent amount of meat and tasted ok. Chips for the guac and chips was half crumbs. Guac was too sour.Service: They only take your order at the counter and take your food out to you but seem to expect full tips +18%. Water is self serve.Atmosphere: Nice closed off street dining but tables were dirty. Restroom was a bit dirty and paper dispenser in it was in need of repair.
