New Happy Fortune - Portland

I just realized that I have been ordering from here for 15 years and haven't left a review. Absolutely shameful because New Happy Fortune is GREAT if you are in the mood for really good, hot, classic American Chinese food at a reasonable price. Really good portions and very delicious. This is my order every time and it's great: Vegetable Lo Mein, Sesame Beef, and Sweet and Sour Pork. They include Steamed Rice with this order for no extra charge. My wife got Sweet and Sour Chicken tonight by mistake and I swear it was just as good if not better than the pork! I know lots of people use delivery services for this place because I see them in droves when I go get my order but I encourage you to call in your order and go pick it up yourself. It's alot of fun sitting there watching the orders ahead of you go through and making small talk with Jenny. Make sure you request hot mustard and soy sauce. Mix them both together and dip your food in it. Soooo good if you like spice. This is a great local business that I will continue to support as long as we are both around. Okay, I am going back for seconds.

I ordered food from them thru Uber eats and had it delivered. BBQ PORK WAS MELT IN YOUR MOUTH AMAZING!! Big portions, good price. Only thing that I didn't totally love, was the fried shrimp. They were a little bit tough and the batter was hard. They probably would have been a lot better if they hadn't been getting cold during the delivery etc. other than that everything was excellent

These pot stickers are phenomenal. The chow fun is really tasty too..but the pot stickers...Holy wow. I've never loved a pot sticker this hard.

Second time ordering takeout. Classic American Chinese. Everything was delicious. Huge portions. Would order again!

This place has some of the best Chinese food I've ever tasted. Worth checking out.
