Nana’s Guilty Pleasures - Portland

This is an incredible hidden gem in Sellwood/Westmoreland. The food is amazing, featuring fresh tomatoes from the garden in my “Roll with a Hole,” and the owner provides fantastic conversation. The picture captures the experience, but it really doesn’t do it full justice. Make sure to visit; you won’t be disappointed, and the food here is far better than what you’ll find next door!

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time, and as a newcomer to the neighborhood, I was really impressed! The food was incredibly fresh and delicious. Plus, their coffee is both free and outstanding! My dog, Stormy, and I had the pleasure of meeting Nana, the owner, who is genuinely kind. I ordered a bagel sandwich, and Stormy enjoyed a side of bacon. This little spot is truly a gem! You should definitely check it out for yourself!

This is an absolute institution. She takes great pleasure in getting good food to her guests. The pastries are excellent. The cinnamon rolls you cannot stop eating. The coffee is free and the vibes are excellent. I have no idea what more one could ask for!!

Nana is fantastic, and the food is absolutely delicious. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with homemade sausage, and it was perfect. It was served with a lovely cup of fresh fruit that was really refreshing. They also offer free coffee while you wait! The cinnamon rolls are made fresh and are incredible—definitely a must-try!

Nana knows what's up. Get the roll with a hole it comes with a side of fresh berries and a cinnamon roll. When she asks you if you want light, medium, or a sinful amount of frosting, you know what to say.
