Mingo Is Now Operating As Caffe Mingo

This upscale Italian bar and lounge is truly exquisite. Our server, Eric (or was it D'Eric, James, or Jameson?), was incredibly patient, informative, and playful with our diverse group of five. The Malbec wine was just what I desired—slightly bold yet smooth and full-bodied. The zinc offered a rich, deep flavor that I thoroughly enjoyed. The oil and salt served with the bread may have seemed simple in presentation, but they created a delightful explosion of flavors in my mouth. The calamari was a fantastic choice, as it was much easier to enjoy grilled rather than fried, and the accompanying garlic aioli was delightful. A special shoutout to the bartender who crafted my Irish coffee; it was the best I've ever had. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that allowed us to take our drinks from Bar Mingo to Caffe Mingo.

Bar Mingo has quickly become one of my favorite dining places in the city. From a great happy hour, a decadent and delicious menu, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere and staff I would highly recommend passing for a drink, some amazing food and service, and phenomenal dessert!

We absolutely love the entire Mingo restaurant family! Bar Mingo features a spacious bar and fun specialty cocktails, but what truly stands out is the exceptional quality and consistency of the food, along with an impressive wine list. The food at Bar Mingo is truly remarkable. This week, I had the grilled lamb dogs, which were fantastic, complemented by green beans and roasted new potatoes. My son and husband were also thrilled with their meals. An added bonus was the unexpected live jazz combo. At first, we considered leaving because of the noise, as my son has difficulty hearing, and we intended to focus on conversation. However, the band played softly and incredibly well, allowing us to enjoy a wonderful evening together!

I visited this restaurant on a Tuesday during happy hour to catch up with a friend from out of town. Over the course of our nearly two-hour stay, we tried a variety of items from the happy hour menu, including Martinis, a large Chianti for the house red wine, house white wine, lamb meatballs, Polenta, calamari, and a cold meat platter. The staff was fantastic, and the atmosphere truly felt like a welcoming neighborhood spot!

Great atmosphere and servers, there's always different specials, wine and beverage specials on happy hour, and excellent food. Had the lasagna last night, and have had the Halibut special on numerous occasions, always very reliable. Highly recommend
