Mc Peets Portland Pub

It was good food, but they had a QR menu only. There is something lazy about that? They have a slupree like cocktail, but it is seasonal. Not great service. Uninspired. It was smaller and less charming than I thought it would be. Lots of TV's but not a really a sports bar. Only about 12 tables in the entire bar. Bad parking. I was sort of let down. Big video poker room, clean, but small and uninspired. No identity. Sort of a dark hole. A good bar for those 55 to 65 year old functional alcoholics. Portland is likely the best bar city the country, so this wouldn't make my top 50.

Horrible service from bartender, female with dark hair. Working 3/8 around 5. Asked inappropriate questions about my service animal that are not legal. I am appalled and feel very disrespected. Please speak with your staff. I will not be coming back. The judgment was NOT Portland friendly or appropriate AT ALL. Is she racist? We are the only colored couple in the bar. DO NO RECOMMEND IF YOU WANT TO FEEL WELCOME HERE! OR ARE COLORED. ?? DISGUSTING

Great pub! Food was excellent and reasonable price. Try the Hetty Alice Pilsner, it’s great. Cozy atmosphere, convenient to airport hotels. Bartender is super sweet and helpful!
