La Bonita - Portland

The food here is just average, and I really wish it were better. I've been dining at this restaurant for many years, but over time, the dishes have become increasingly bland and inconsistent, especially as prices continue to rise (which is a trend everywhere). The interior of the Killingsworth location in Arbor Lodge/Overlook feels cramped and cluttered, with supplies taking up space in the seating area. Additionally, the bar seating has consistently been unusable because the bar is used as a storage shelf.

This restaurant is a great place to grab a reasonably priced burrito that will definitely satisfy your hunger. The environment was tidy, and the staff were very friendly. The burrito was quite large and had a wonderful flavor. While I recommend trying it, I probably wouldn’t go back myself.

The food here is excellent, but the atmosphere could be a bit cozier. The decor feels quite plain and lacking in inspiration, though it's casual and functional. I accidentally had my burrito taken by someone else, but they quickly made me a new one, which I really appreciated. The taste was fantastic, and it might actually be better suited as a takeout option.

Me and a coworker came here for lunch on 9/27/23. The food was really good but they don’t have queso or white cheese is what we call it in the Carolinas. Other than that, it was delicious. They cook your food when you order so you get hot/fresh food.

Large portions of meat in the tacos. The carnitas and the beef tongue are both rich and have nice crispy ends. It adds texture and brings the taste of the grill. Very nice. The salsas could have been more flavorful but we're mainly mild in flavor and moderate in heat.
