Contribuiți la feedbackI was concerned that this restaurant wouldn't meet the high expectations set by the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. MM MM WOW, it's amazing!! Definitely worth the wait. We visited on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend expecting it to be busy, and it was indeed packed at 8:30 a.m. with a small line outside. We only waited for less than 10 minutes for a table, but larger groups had to wait longer. I ordered the Monte Cristo and my husband got the country-fried steak. We barely spoke during the meal because we were too busy enjoying the delicious food, saying "mm yummy" the entire time. The Monte Cristo was served open-faced on a large piece of French toast, with ham, Swiss cheese, 2 eggs on top, and a side of syrup. You could choose from various sides, I opted for the house potatoes and my husband got the hash browns. We give this place a 10/10 and highly recommend it! ?
We experienced long wait times, with our initial estimate of 30 minutes turning into an hour and ten. Despite this, we were okay with waiting, but wished the wait time had been more accurate. Upon entering, we noticed flies in the dining room. However, our water was promptly refilled and our coffees were served without issue. When our food arrived, it was just okay, with some dishes appearing to be a mistake. One example was our omelet, which was predominantly filled with bacon instead of the expected combination of bacon, tomatoes, onions, and cream cheese. When we questioned the waiter, we were told it was intentional. The house-made hot sauce tasted like raw tomato puree and lacked spice. Overall, we were disappointed with our experience and found the restaurant to be overrated, despite enjoying the French toast and good service.
Excellent breakfast spot on the very trendy Mississippi Ave. All of our dishes were amazing and the service was friendly and prompt. Nice atmosphere that didn't get so loud where you had to raise your voice. Nice vegan options also. Looking forward to going back again!Dietary restrictions: Menu clearly marks several vegan options
I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant. The portions were huge and the food was absolutely delicious. The corned beef hash was particularly outstanding, with big chunks of fresh, shredded beef. I could only finish about a third of my plate because it was so filling. My husband also had a generous portion and we both enjoyed the crispy hash browns. Overall, I would give the food a perfect 5 out of 5 rating.
Really really good, the best breakfast I have had yet! Very quirky spot with an open style you can sit at the bar and watch the cooks in the kitchen. And then they bring this massive plate of food, it was very worth it. Hope to come back one day and visit again.Vegetarian options: Seen vegan options on the menu, did not try though.
