Gastro Mania Deli Nw - Portland

I was at the animal house just down the block and discovered Gastro Mania on Google Maps—I'm so glad I did! The food was fantastic; it had one of the best gyros I've ever had, and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back in the neighborhood!

Based on my experience at this unexpected lunch counter, I can confidently say it was one of the best gyros I've had in America, and certainly the best in Portland. There were no pre-sliced pieces from a box; everything was cooked to crispy perfection. The blend of beef and lamb was incredible—a unique combination that was definitely worth trying. I'm looking forward to sampling the rest of the menu, two dishes at a time!

It was delicious! The portions were generous, and the octopus was tender and exquisite. I highly recommend it and would definitely return.

Eating is great, but they don't take names for orders. my eating was given to someone else, and I am charged without telling me that the command is not ready. I have no time to wait for new preparations during the working day. So, I'm charged, and the refund won't get through for 3 days?

Couldn't believe how great the food was. Could easily see other (lower quality) places charging way more for these dishes. The salmon and chicken were perfectly cooked and the servings are huge. Fed 3 people for less than $40 and all left so stuffed and satisfied. Got lucky because we chose this place at random while passing through on our way to Washington. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.
