Flying Pie Pizzeria - Portland

Love to grab a slice to go. We stopped by for the first time about a month and a half ago for the Montavilla street festival on stark. While we were there, we walked by and the smell of the pizza made us want to try it. Good pizza, affordable for a slice. Very generous sized slice.

Classic and tasty! Tons of toppings. Money well spent.

Came here for my mother 's birthday party and the treatment we received from the employees was unacceptable. My family has been coming here for over 30 years and my mom just wanted to celebrate her birthday and reminisce on some good times. About a week before we made a reservation ahead of time for our party group and even called ahead earlier today to place the pizza orders to alleviate the work the employees would have to do, because we were being considerate of their time. Unfortunately, we were spoken to passive aggressively and the cashier woman was the absolute worst. I did not catch her name or else I would mention it, but I am absolutely sure she is racist. On top of being spoken to rudely the entire time we were there, we were told after two hours of being there while still drinking and eating our food that our time was up and we needed to start wrapping it up.. we were never told there was a time limit to our reservation... The fact that we spent about $500 dollars and were treated this way is insane. Needless to say we will not be coming back to this place.

Pretty good pizza, but they do not sell by the slice. However, you can go next door to the theater where they do sell Flying Pie pizza by the slice at a very good price!

Called in order to go said 35 mins,got there in 20.Went to restroom for 1 min came back out and waited.35 min mark came and gone still nothing.Apparently mine was called while in restroom,I came out got seat right in front of window where orders go out.After 1 hr and 15 mins past I ask if they still had my order.Guy grabs it and says ya we called it.I like this place and know they will call name multiple times to assure they get order,except me.I always tip generously am nice and I get this treatment today.I will continue going to flying pie just not one on stark.Cold pizza for dinner...thank you.
