Contribuiți la feedbackWhat a gem. Super fast service, generous portions, and very well flavored meat. They are known for their fajitas. Very, very good. Los Dos amigos beef taquitos and beef quesadilla. The highlight of the entire meal was the flavor of the meat. This is definitely the best place to go if you are in Portland. If you are looking for good chili rellenos, this is not your place. Spouse said her chili relleno was not fried correctly and still had egg.
Food is alright but a little spendy for what you get. Drinks are good. Fried ice cream is amazing
Fast service good sized portions. Great quality food. Carnes Escada well prepared. .
El Indio is the elder sibling of El Indio II. Although it’s older, the food was everything I hoped it would be. The building may be old, but it is well-maintained and incredibly clean! I chose to visit during the quiet hours between 3 and 5 PM to take photos without making anyone uncomfortable. My waitress was very friendly and helped me select my meal. The food arrived at my table in under 10 minutes! The restaurant boasts a spacious dining area and a section for special events. The bar is well-stocked, and you can find nearly any drink you desire. On Saturday nights from 9 PM to 2 AM, they host Karaoke for those looking to showcase their singing talents. Overall, this restaurant exceeded all my expectations (including a spotless restroom) with flying colors! Kudos to El Indio!
We really enjoy this little gem of a restaurant. It may not be upscale, but the food is consistently delicious, and the service is outstanding.
