Caviar - Portland

We just arrived in Portland and were looking for a nearby place to eat, so we walked a few blocks to Rampa. You order at the counter, and they bring your food to the table when it's ready. I had the black bauch mac and cheese, while my partner ordered the pesto pasta. The mac and cheese was absolutely delicious! The sauce on the meat had a sweet flavor that complemented the mac and cheese perfectly. My partner also enjoyed the pesto pasta. The portion sizes were quite generous too. Definitely give this place a try; you won’t leave hungry!

Pasta Paradise is absolutely amazing! This place is fantastic. They are open during the coronavirus pandemic and recommend ordering through their Grassa app. We used DoorDash, and the food was great. They only offer delivery, but it feels very safe. Their ratings speak for themselves—everything we tried was delicious! We had the meatballs and carbonara, and we couldn't resist the tasty mac and cheese! Each dish was bursting with flavor. Their menu has so many wonderful options to choose from, ensuring there's something for everyone. Every selection we made was exceptional. We definitely recommend supporting local businesses and checking them out!

So thankfully that my friend wanted to eat here. we were not disappointed. we had the black bell mac n cheese, carbonara, cacio e pepe and a caesar salat. my Gauner danced all the time. I honestly can't stop thinking about the pigeon bauch mac n cheese. it was in a league of his own. I could eat it until I was sick, it was so good. the caesar was also amazing. my friend enjoyed the other two dishes. we can't wait to visit again.

The Pork Belly Mac was mostly just fatty pork belly—essentially just a chunk of fat. I expected something more akin to bacon. Maybe it was undercooked? Or perhaps my taste buds aren't quite refined enough? I took my teenage daughter and her friend along since they wanted to load up on carbs before dinner. The Cacio e Pepe is the reason I gave this place a “very good” rating. Along with a few other basic pasta dishes we ordered, it made the trip worthwhile. However, we couldn’t help but wonder about the blaring rap music in the background. They even have coloring sheets for kids featuring David Bowie in his Ziggy Stardust phase, and my daughter pointed out, “Why aren’t they playing THAT music?” That was a sharp observation on her part.
