Cassidy's - Portland

Overall, the atmosphere is casually glamorous. It strikes the perfect balance for me—not overly classic or flashy, yet stylish and chic with great service.

My partner and I happened upon Cassidy's while searching for a late-night spot to eat and drink. Most places were closed, had long waits, or just offered basic food. I'm so glad we chose Cassidy's! Our waiter was incredibly friendly and entertaining. I enjoyed one of the best martinis I've ever had—I even ordered a second! The food was clearly fresh, making it one of the most enjoyable dining experiences we've had overall.

We enjoyed a delightful dinner following a concert in the Crystal Ballroom. The service was excellent, and our drinks were fantastic. My husband ordered the sirloin cooked medium, and it was cooked perfectly on the first try. He also had the flourless chocolate cake, which was delicious. I opted for the gnocchi with lamb ragu and the pear colette. For drinks, we tried the Fielder’s Choice Old Fashioned and Manhattan, both made with Bulleit bourbon. I had the Manhattan, and I appreciated that it was served on the drier side—it was incredibly refreshing. This restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, and I can't wait to return.

Kellner was super attentive and helpful. The food was presented professionally, clean and tasty. The cocktail names were also very funny.

A restaurant and also a bar, this place has a lot of charm. The classic old-school look is great, they have good music and even better food, and the staff is really friendly. Definitely a cool place to eat at!
