Good portions for two people to share a few things without being too stuffed. Loved it so much that we had to come back a second time in just a three-day stay in Portland. Probably the best calamari I've ever had. The lamb rogan josh was another favorite, especially paired with fresh naan. Divine.
Food was pretty good and reasonably priced, I liked the appetizers, though my palak paneer was too watery for my taste. The naan was, as recommended by the owner, fantastic. Be warned their point of sales machine is not working well though; even if you tip, it won't show up there, but you will see it in your credit card statement later!. Got called out for this by the waitress, pretty embarrassing but it is what it is
Unique and amazing experience. The flavors of the food are mind blowing, loved the Indo-fusion combo. Ambience is pleasant. Place for everyone. Lotus Root fries and Malvani Chicken burger (if available) must try.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options at this restaurant. Check out special menu if available.
Great food. Everything we ordered( Chana masala, tomatoes and eggplant curry, naan, dum aloo) was very flavorful and portion sizes were just right. The mango kulfi was just yum! Service could have been a little better considering that they weren’t too busy on a late Sunday afternoon.
This is a very good Indian restaurant to eat . It is kashmiri style food , very authentic and different than typical india restaurant food in the US. I ordered thali for two, and every item in thali was unique and reminded me of some flavors back in Delhi/India, I used to taste . I will recommend ordering thali if you want to experience a variety of dishes with one order . Service and ambiance were excellent, too.
