Basilisk - Portland

I came to this restaurant after receiving multiple recommendations from friends and family. The staff suggested the honey habanero chicken sandwich, which I believe was the standout choice compared to the regular chicken sandwich and the hot chicken plate. It was a fantastic recommendation. The chicken was moist, tender, and packed with flavor. It paired perfectly with the pickles. I regret moving away from Portland because I will miss this dish.

The Hot Chicken at this restaurant was extremely spicy. It was fried perfectly and served with house-made pickles and fried bread. The fries exceeded expectations with a light seasoning. To finish off the meal, we enjoyed a refreshing Pina Pineapple Kool-Aid soft serve.

This is the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. No need to say anything else, it was just amazing. Keep up the great work!

The chicken sandwich was good, but the Dan Dan fries stole the show. A perfect food. Great venue too
