Bai Mint Thai - Portland

I really wanted to like this place since it?s so close to my place but unfortunately my first time trying it was disappointing. I ordered the steamed dumplings, pad Thai, and the tofu fresh rolls. The fresh rolls were fairly good, the peanut sauce was pretty sweet and could?ve used more of a tangy flavor. The steamed dumplings were ok but I wasn?t a fan of the flavor. I was really hopeful when I went to eat the pad Thai but it was VERY sweet. I felt like I was eating sweet noodles with a touch of vinegar and hints of pad Thai flavors : I ended up not eating any of it after trying everything. I really love Thai food and eat it regularly so I was pretty sad to have this experience. I hope this feedback is helpful!

Great portion for thr price and great taste!! We love the noodles and the Thai Milk Tea! If you like Thai food, I would definitely recommend trying this place ?

This is my go to for lunch. It?s the best. The price for the lunch special is a great deal. The portion size is large, The food is flavored perfectly, the service is always great. I like the food here so much that I look forward to going to work in the morning because I get to eat here for my break.

Wow! Talk about great food and service a step above the rest. We went for lunch on a nearly rainy day and wanted to eat outside. There are 2 4-tops on the sidewalk. Great lunch specials for $10! Our food came quickly and it started to sprinkle. The staff quickly brought us a patio umbrella and stand. When we left, they brought us extra rice for our left over panang curry. So thoughtful. We will definitely be back.
