Ah Fong Kitchen - Portland

This is excellent Chinese food, made by the family's mom, with no hired help involved. It's all homemade, which is a real treat. The only thing that wasn't homemade were the spring rolls; they seemed to be factory-made, but they were still decent. Since there’s no dining in available yet, we ate in the car. Overall, the food was very good.

The portion sizes were generous for the price. I ordered two fried rice dishes and a General Tso's chicken, assuming it would be enough for dinner. Now I have enough leftovers for at least lunch tomorrow, and possibly dinner as well! The rice was flavorful and overflowing from the container. I would definitely return!

I had an excellent experience with the Chinese food at this restaurant. I tried the Combo Plate #6, which included Almond Chicken, Lo Mein, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, and Cream Cheese Puffs. Every dish was delicious and I highly recommend it!

Great food and friendly staff, this is a good choice. Huge portions, you won't leave hungry. They have a good lunch special for $7.50. We love the sweet sour chicken and the Mu Shu Pork

Other than the fact that some of the prices are a little above normal and you have to eat in in-order to get the free side of white rice or soup that every other Chinese takeout gives you, it's still pretty good. If there was another one just as close to me, I'd probably try that one first though. Either way, you won't be unsatisfied if you eat in or out here.
