Taberna do Filipe - Portimão

This is a restaurant you can't miss! The most delicious portuguese food served with a smile. A true gem in Praia da Rocha. We ordered a few small plates and they were all delicious. Some items are not on the menu as they arrive on a daily basis depending on the season. We had barnacles, shrimp, clams, calamari and crawfish! All cooked to the perfection.

It was recommended by friends, and now recommended by me. Excellent food.... Little restaurant with great environment.

Small restaurant near the marina and the center so usually a pain to park nearby.The atmosphere is as Portuguese as possible, very nice waiters cater for most of customers needs, excellent service.We were 10 in total, and usually a reservation is needed for such big party.We had seafood and squid all very well cooked and presented.The price is average but excellent taking in account the quality.A must return.

We were recommended this place by our Airbnb for authentic Portuguese and it certainly didn't disappoint! We had this extremely sweet English speaking waiter that helped us order. We aren't used to ordering by the kg so we told him we wanted smaller plates and he gave us perfect portions. We ordered barnacles and he gave us instructions on how to eat it. He gave us a wonderful recommendation on white wine that paired beatifically with our meal. We ordered stuffed calamari, mixed clams, barnacles, langoustines(not in the menu, he said it's only there when it's in season). Everything was delicious! And again the service was just spectacular!!

Octopus Rice, shrimp with orange sauce, squid dish, every tastes are Top Quality and price are reasonable. Come back soon again.
