We all like to eat 'well ' but sometimes we just want to eat good wholesome food cooked in a good wholesome way at a nice wholesome price! Restaurante Rafael run by pleasant Brazilians fits that bill. I have lunched there a few times lately as I have been working close by and I cant really fault it! It is clean and tidy, basic decor, bit cold due to current climatic conditions as I write this but you do get the 'wholesomeness ' I mentioned above. They serve Portuguese and Braxilian food and the last visits I have had a superb Feijoada, melt in the mouth Pataniscas of Bacalhau and terrific secretos of pork. Always a nice mixed salad to go along with it. The advertised menu, written on the wall, is quite extensive so I always go for one of the daily dishes. Due to it being 'out of the way ' they seem to be short of clients but do give it a go so it survives for me! Oh! finally one moan frozen chips! Why do they do this?
