Mumbai Darbar Indian Restaurant

Another fabulous meal in a lovely restaurant. Lovely food, lovely staff. Always a nice welcome, if you like Indian food, the Mumbai Darbar is a must visit

What a gem of a place. Really worth a visit, great authentic flavours wonderfully sized prawns and meat and a very attentive service!. Do not get confused with an Indian round the corner called Indias curry house with a similar logo. This is the one found in-between bar Michael and inter-marche!

It 's just good , not bad or great , very average. I love Indian food so I may be over critical, staff were nice but probably some of the worst trained staff iv ever saw, I think they thought I worked there too, go he to with ness this alone, we couldn 't believe it , he had us remove our used cutlery from our staters and told us to wipe them with the napkins, wild carry on. We dis it too , then another waiter stood at the end of the table and had us pass the plates along to him at the end. They were all at, every staff member, go to see this , forget the food .I 'm sorry guys we didn 't tip , not for that, but nice waiters if they can be called that , lol

Ends to eat in this great restaurant. the staff is very friendly and helps them to make their order perfect to their taste. amazing lens soup, many vegetarian dishes to choose from. has an esplanade. the perfect experience.

The original real indian curry house! they recently (april 2022) have regained the same quality under the same line. very delicious authentic. this is the actual original Indian curry house (please do not confuse it with an Indian restaurant around the corner next to a large bar, this is a completely different place, operated by different people) in alvor. what a great place that is, great service, great eating, great everything. the owner was also very patient with us, as we did not have so much experience with Indian food. we followed his advice to order the house specialties that made Lababdar versions either with huh, lamb or shrimp. they can also ask how sharp they want it (medium is very good in terms of spicy, but if they think medium plus it will spicier.) the owner and his wife run this place together with 2 cooks in the kitchen. They are so passionate about what they do, and this shows in everything. the hygiene is also well maintained here, with hands-anitization being provided and they also pay particular attention to avoiding direct hand contact with the plates and glasses, as they put them on the table. also here, please make sure if they are the reservation that they are going to the right place on the main street m 531, this Indian curry house is the real and authentic. if not sure, check them carefully before entering the restaurant, as the other Indian restaurant pretends that they are the one where they made the booking (the real Indian curry house alvor is located as part of a white larger building.) this couple deserves to have their business (I will also get a picture of the spatialities, so they can check them go to the real Indian curry. as I said, they are recently re-presentable in mumbai, other than, still the same consistent quality
