Marisqueria da Rocha - Portimão

We have eaten here at 2 times, as it was a bit more authentic than most on a strip that seems to wall pizza places. filled with locals. extremely friendly service. cold beer. reasonably expensive. had some good and some not so...big dishes. the steak Portuguese style was a well cooked steak with ham and fried carrots and was delicious comfort food. the blacksteak with a was similar. the otopus was large and delicately cooked with garlic and last of olive oil, which can be traditional but somewhat oily and bland for our tastes. the codfish and cheeks were terrible. bland steamed cod and simple chickpeas-no seasoning or sauce. not a sweet one without counting kartoffels! total, decent, but bland, but perhaps this is only Portuguese eating.

We found this restaurant on the first day in portimao and decided to eat here at lunchtime. we had eaten 9 out of the 10 days here at midday. eating is freshly prepared and they almost always have another dish of the...day we tried and were not disappointed! the personal is friendly and welcoming and declares the courts before. happy, eat and wein recommend, and not always the most expensive! beautiful experience!

The restaurant has a beautiful dining area in the free. they make the best soalfish in portemao. they also have a selection at desserts, flan was our favorite.

This restaurant was not as good as a couple of years ago. Previously it was very cheap, but with good food. the food is now avearge and the prices similar to other restaurants in the city, they accused themselves for appetizers that we had not eaten.

O espaço é despretensioso, mas a comida é excelente. Recomendo a caldeirada de peixe, o bife à cortador e o arroz de marisco. Excelentemente confeccionados e em doses em quantidade suficiente embora pudessem ser um pouco maiores. O couvert e as bebidas são caras demais. Os restantes preços estão em linha com a oferta local. A voltar mais vezes pois a comida é excelente.
