Claire's Restauraunt - Portimão

The last time we came to praia was good. Unfortunately, it looks like the place was taken over by new management and it was pretty bad. Maybe it wasn't our taste, but I had fish and it wasn't good. the service was also everywhere and I was brought my main thing before the starter and my wife was totally missed. Don't come back.

Stunned over this place quite late in our vacation, but ended again visit in the following night. excellent eating, a beautiful atmosphere and excellent service, I recommend full. special mention for the wonderful waitress saaliha, which is an absolute gem and a person who would do the restaurant very well to keep. all in all a fantastic culinary experience!

I wish I could give zero stars because this restaurant should be open. the staff is super young and inexperienced when they asked to explain some meals, they obviously had no warning themselves. after the order we waited more than an hour. after an hour we have lost our appetit sincerely. we got “batatas assadas”, which should be kartoffeln in the many, but ended old boiled kartoffels just thrown into the frit. they tasted honestly as if they had already gone bad so that we could not eat them. the salat came without dressing and already super muddy as it sits in its small bowl all day long. the sweet, that come as a spicy, are only bagged vegetables that they can buy in any super market. it is only with no salt, pepper or whatever warmed. put venes out of the bag. the portions are quite badly served as they cannot eat the seasoned with which they come. a terrible experience, just past this “restaurant” for their own well-being.

My daughter and I visited Claires during our holiday in Portimaõ. We ordered carbonara and a chicken salad. Both looked delicious on arrival but two forkfulls into the salad I removed a long blonde hair belonging to the lady who could be clearly seen working...in the kitchen without a hair net. This put me right off and I sent it back and was given a free drink of my choice. I nibbled at the carbonara ordered by my daughter, it was creamy but very thick and heavy, she only ate about 1/2 the portion. When we went to pay the very apologetic owner now informed me he didn't accept any form of card payment. Very disappointed.

Food is amazing here, nice atmosphere and everyone is really friendly. food came quickly with no problems definitely would come again
