Bacchus bar praia da rocha - Portimão

My god where do I start...I'm so happy we found this little gem of a premises...we were staying 10 nights in pria da rocha and had some amazing funny nights in Arthurs bar...he is a gentleman so funny and a delightful grandson who works behind...the bar...Arthur even speaks a a wee bit of the Irish language...We cannot wait to go back we had great sing songs in there 2 weeks ago we are now going back after Christmas and can't wait to visit this bar....excellent in every way..xx

This is a decent little bar with a central location on the main strip. There is ample seating both outside and in but one of the best things about this establishment is the pub macaw!! He sits in the outside seating area and entertains the...clientele with shouts of “Mother” and sitting eating his seeds.

An old established bar which serves great drinks and good food all freshly cooked. Arthur the owner has been there since it opened in 1974 and his parrot provides some entertainment.

This place was our first drink of the night bar before eating as the happy hour was until 9.15pm. A large super bock and glass of Rose was 4 euros. Full price later on was only 6. True service is a little slow, but who's...in a rush on holiday not us. Loved it.

So a cozy place! the old man who leads the place is so gentle. remember them, even though it was months since the last time. the papagei also a funny bird! a little more!
