R J's Cafe Bakery - Porterville

The waiter was very rude. not even twice. I didn't greet us as we said in the morning, and last time we threw our food on the table. never back.

I would have gotten this place less than a star, I would have. this place was decent years ago, but today was one of the worst around resteraunt exoeriances ever. all food, from all 3 of our orders decorated microwave, days old and rough. black au jus for the French dip, hard brot (rock hard), cold breakfast is a bit, undercooked terrible. never again.

It is always good eating and service. the same great staff they always had.

Beautiful small breakfast place with beautiful staff. very recommend the biscuits and gravy, the biscuits were soft and damp. the engraving was spicy and filled. would not expect espresso based drinks, but the coffee was good and flowing.

Excellent place to eat breakfast. I ordered the country style potatoes, eggs and bacon with a homemade biscuit and gravy. The biscuit was soo delicious and a meal in itself. The historical photos of Porterville on the walls are a nice touch for those interested in the history of the town as well. Great, friendly service as well. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed.
