China King - Porters Neck

Food tasted fresh and reasonable priced. The only thing that was a dislike of mine was that they used canned mushrooms in the vegetable fried rice. The recommendation would be to use fresh mushrooms that are pre-sliced for better taste.

The Chicken in black bean sauce, shrimp egg rolls, and lo mein were all delicious! ?

Maybe it's different because I'm from out of town but this place isn't it.

The new owners are too cool so friendly and the food is always great plus the have coupons

I used to live Downtown and China King is convenient to that area. I have been ordering from there for years. They used to be consistent over time and the food was very flavorful. It has gone down hill ever since the pandemic. They used to have different types of fancy mushrooms that I enjoyed. Now the last several times I have ordered you get canned mushrooms. Gross. Also for the much higher price that is on their menu compared to what I was used to you might as well go to a sit down restaurant. Too bad as I used to love China King.
