Great eating for a very affordable price. Not so much a hidden gem more as they could fight to get a table without reservation, although the restaurant is huge! small menu, but all the options are very good. a must go if they are opposite near the Alqueva/Amieira. the salted codfish (bacalhau) should be for!

This great restaurant near the xxx is an old place very well preserved and with a large menu deal. the personal is very nice and the restaurant was completely full, so it is 100% recommended to book a table in advance. that was excellent! it is a fixed menu where you can choose between fish or meat. we ordered a mix of him just to try everything and after some delicious starters (oliven, brot, ham) came a super large plate of bacalao with delicious kartoffels and swirling on our table. it was very delicious and we really enjoyed it. then another super big teller pork came on our table with more kartoffels. everything was done perfectly! the desserts were good, but not remarkable. definitiw, it is a must go to this restaurant when they are close.

Very nice place. wide and with enough space. similar to an saloon with many big tabs where people can interact with others when they choose. eating is very good and the staff is very friendly and open. haven eaten bacalhau and was. very good. the price is favorable for everything it contains. 12.5€ including appetizer bacalhau portion meat that we did not take) dessert coffee and 2 bottles of wine. also has a lot of child chairs, so it is well prepared for families. really enjoyed the place and the staff.

Completamente apanhada de surpresa e porquê? Porque quando aqui cheguei não tinha ideia que apenas tinham 2 pratos :) Depois de me organizar lá escolhi o bacalhau porque não sou muito fã de carne grelhada. Tudo muito organizado e a comida boa.Tendo em conta o que se paga realmente é uma opção barata, mas confesso que não me enche as medidas :)

NA minha procura de restaurantes em Portel apareceu o Aficionado que correspondia às minhas necessidades de veraneante. Rapidez, baixo custo, bom comer e simpatia a 100%. O valor é fixo e contempla tudo. Entrada, prato, bebida, café, sobremesa e digestivo tudo por 12.50€ por pessoa. As minhas filhas dividiram a dose. A repetir...
