Canape Sandwiches - Portage

We've been here a couple times.The food here is consistent.I was surprised that they allowed purveyors to come in during the rush hour and detract from the service of customers.

This foursome came to Canape Sandwiches as part of the Ice Age Trail Mammoth Challenge in October. Portage is an IAT Trail community. This resturant allowed the 4 of us Thousand Milers to sit and visit for 3 hours!, as we live several hours away from each other! FREE coffee for Seniors, great food and wonderfully friendly staff! Will definately return when hiking in this area in the future!

My granddaughter I have stopped here twice. We LOVE it will continue to stop here every time we are in Portage. This is a delicious lunch stop. Lots of vegan options including dairy free cheddar cheese and even dairy free ice cream!I had the avocado burger with vegan patty and cheese on toast. Beyond Delicious ?Vegetarian options: The cook walks you through how the options work and teaches how to order.Dietary restrictions: They worked with my vegan options and took my request for a vegan hot dog. This place beats Portillo's except for ribs.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy roll in and all the tables have chairs with a wide center aisle for rolling up.
