Contribuiți la feedbackI’ve only been here once, but excellent fall off the bone ribs. Perogies fried, also excellent. Asian salad very good. Large portions, friendly staff. Restaurant is kinda small, but well worth coming here. It’s on the main drag coming into town. Little bit hard to find, but it’s on the right side of the road, when you are traveling west. Well worth the trip.
During our road trip we stopped for lunch. It was delicious and quick. Glad to support a local business rather than a corporate franchise.<br <br Restrooms were very clean. This is a good sign that the kitchen would be clean too.
I can't believe the reviews bills has been getting. I've been going there for 20 plus years. You don't stay open that long with bad food. Every time I go there everything is great. Ribs can't be beat, chicken souvlaki is huge and delicious and don't get me started on the pizza, pricey but worth it. The service is hands down the best in town, those girls really know how to get it done. Everyone is so friendly and bill is always out talking to someone. Great little family. Always good to make a reservation in the summer, it's very busy this time of year.
EH!!!!!. First of all don't order the soup. It was horrid. The chicken and half rack was ok. The chicken was well cooked, the ribs were a bit boiled tasting. The vegetables were over cooked and had a nasty sauce. Over all 3 of 5!!!!!!
Good food, good service!. I had seen the ads on TV and so on the rare occasion of being in P la P we decided to check out this restaurant for lunch on a Saturday, about a month ago. Alas, they aren't open for lunch on Saturday, so we went elsewhere. But today, on our way back from Spruce Woods Park we stopped for dinner. The place was packed when we arrived at 6pm, but luckily there was one table available. I ordered the Greek Platter special, starting with the lemon rice soup, with Moussaka, Spanakopita, a stuffed tomato, lemon roast potatoes and an assortment of cooked vegetables, and a chicken souvlaki. The lemon rice soup was perfect not too thick, and deliciously tangy. The moussaka was so good. And my always favourite lemon roast potatoes were excellent. My boyfriend ordered the Ribs in sweet and tangy sauce. They also came with the soup, and lemon roast potatoes. (There are options, all good, but we stuck with the Greek theme . The server was very friendly and the service was great! After we were done, and couldn't finish our meals, the owner Bill (you'll recognize him from the caricature on the menu, the front of the building and the TV commercial! came by to ask us if there was a problem. We assured him there was none, we just could not finish it all! So he said to wait and he came back with complementary dessert and coffee! What a nice surprise! We were full before, and after, we were really, really full! The place was very busy the whole time we were there, and watching the servers we could tell they enjoyed what they were doing. I recommend this restaurant, and would definitely consider returning if/when in P la P again. Thanks Bill!
